Meet the Tampa Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Tampa
We’re a Tampa crew that’s been fixing garage doors since 2015, and we’ve kept the same core people on the truck because that’s what works. Every technician who pulls up to your house in Seminole Heights, Westchase, or Riverview is background-checked, uniformed, and trained to the same standard: write the price before touching a tool, photograph what we find, and leave a documented record when we go. No subcontractors. No mystery crews. Just the names below, doing the work under The Haven Standard.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner and Lead Technician
Marcus started Servo Garage Doors Tampa in 2015 after spending nine years in the garage door trade watching companies quote one number over the phone and a different number at the door. That’s why Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, the written price before any work starts, is the rule he built the company around. His specialty is spring failures and drum replacement, the jobs that fail most dramatically and get misdiagnosed most often. When he’s not in the truck, he’s pulling apart a LiftMaster logic board on his bench and documenting every step so the younger crew can learn what an intermittent ground fault actually looks like.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana has installed over 1,400 doors in the Tampa area since she joined in 2018, mostly full replacements in older homes from Palma Ceia to Carrollwood. She handles the heavy structural work: removing 30-year-old track systems, re-pitching rails, and squaring door sections that have settled out of line. Her specialty is load calculations on Clopay and Amarr doors, making sure the spring assembly matches the actual door weight rather than what the old system used. She keeps a marked-up copy of the Florida building code in the cab and will tell you exactly which section applies to wind-load reinforcement before drilling the first hole.
Teresa M., Service Coordinator
Teresa is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when your door won’t close and you need someone to answer, not a recording. She dispatches the emergency calls in Tampa, tracks which parts are on which truck, and reads every job note before a technician leaves the shop so the crew shows up knowing what they’re walking into. She’s been with Servo since 2019 and can tell you over the phone whether your issue sounds like a broken spring or a stripped gear just from how the opener sounds when you describe it. Roughly half her calls start with someone apologizing for calling late, and her standard line is that the phone’s on for a reason.
Leo V., Apprentice Technician
Leo completed his technician training in 2024 and has been riding with Marcus or Dana since, logging the kind of failure cases that only show up in Tampa’s humidity and salt air. He handles photo documentation on the job, which means he’s the one capturing every failed part before it’s replaced, per Clause 4 of The Haven Standard. His current focus is opener diagnostics, learning to spot a failing travel module before it leaves a customer stranded with a door hanging halfway up. He’ll be the first to tell you which garage doors in Ybor City are original to 1920s bungalows because he’s measured most of them.
One Standard, Every Job

The crew in Tampa works to a standard that doesn’t change depending on who shows up. Every job opens with a flat written price and a written scope of work, runs under the same documentation rules, and closes with a photo record of what was found and what was done. Marcus holds the local license and insurance; The Haven Standard provides the system that keeps every visit consistent. When Dana removes a broken torsion spring in Citrus Park, she follows the same Clause 1 pricing rule that Leo follows on a cable replacement in Brandon. That’s the point of the standard. The customer gets the same documented outcome with the same named technician, whether it’s a Monday tune-up or a Saturday emergency at 1 a.m. If a repair isn’t right, the 365-Day Done Right Promise means we make it right. We don’t leave a job until the customer has seen the failed part, approved the price, and received the record. That has been the rule since day one, and it’s the reason 18,000 doors later, the crew still starts every morning the same way: with a written price and a camera.
